Tripping characteristic
The tripping time depends on the level of the overcurrent. In the event of a short circuit, the faulty cir-
cuit is reliably switched off within a few milliseconds. The level of the short-circuit current depends on
the current limitation of the supplying power supply unit and the line resistance.
