DUAL COOKING PROBLE
EN
Important remarks before using your cooking probe
Do not put your cooking probe unit in a oven, microwave or a barbecue.
Do not touch either of the two sensors directly after contact with hot food (risk of burns).
Never immerse the probe unit in water. Clean it with a damp cloth.
Use the probe in accordance with the Instructions for Use.
The temperature of the probe is measured by the point/end piece of each sensor:
- Sensor T1 (D) must be implanted in the center of food
- Sensor T2 (E) must be in contact with the heating surface (frying pan, casserole, griddle,
etc.)
Starting the appliance
Put 2 AAA batteries (supplied) in the compartment provided, respecting the polarities (F).
To start the probe, press the ON/OFF button (B). To turn the probe off, press and hold the
ON/OFF button.
Use of the appliance
By default, on starting the T1 sensor (D) is active. To use the T2 sensor (E) press the "T1/
T2" button (C). Each sensor is folded/unfolded manually.
To maintain a temperature display on the screen, press the ON/OFF/HOLD button quickly.
To change the unit of measurement (°C/°F), open the battery compartment and move the
button according to your choice. (F)
To activate the backlighting for the screen (A), press either button.
Specific indications
Operates from -104°F to 752°F (between -40°C and 400°C).
Induction-compatible.
When using your T2 (E) surface probe, the displayed temperatures will normally vary
slightly and rapidly due to the precision of the thermocouple sensors and the constant
variations in the heat source.
