LUBRICANT OIL Oil is an important factor that affects engine performance and life. Never substitute motor oil with regular machine oil, gearbox oil or vegetable oil. The oil that comes from the factory is multigrade 15W/40. This type of oil is used since it covers a wide range of ambient temperatures, however it is the responsibility of the motorcycle user to replace the oil with another type if the ambient temperature is outside the covered range.
