Connecting to Your Network - Option 1 - Wireless

1. The 3D scanner will start a WIFI hotspot
called MAF_THREE and project an IP
address. Connect your computer to the
WIFI hotspot MAF_THREE. (Figure 4.)
2. Open your web browser and enter the
IP address projected by the 3D scanner.
3. Follow the instructions on the website
to select your WIFI network and enter its
password. (Figure 5.)
4. MAF_THREE hotspot will disconnect and
the 3D scanner will attempt to connect
to the selected WIFI network using the
password you provided. Your computer will
disconnect from MAF_THREE.
5. If necessary, reconnect your computer to
your WIFI network.
6. When the 3D scanner successfully connects
to your WIFI network it will project a new IP
address. Open the IP address in your web
browser. This accesses the 3D scanner's
built-in website, which provides software
control for 3D scanning and managing your
scans. (Figure 6.)
7. If the 3D scanner does not successfully
connect to WIFI, it is because of an incorrect
password or because the network is no
longer available. In this situation the 3D
scanner will restart the WIFI hotspot MAF_
THREE. Repeat the connection process from
Step 1.
