Setup
Caution! Make sure not to scratch the speaker! Do not let anything fall into the box through the bass reflex tubes!
Place the soundbase at the intended location. Here are some tips:
Bass reflex openings, sound
The rear arrangement of the bass reflex openings requires the XS-8500
RC to have at least a 5-centimeter distance from the back wall to ensure
smooth operation and avoid airflow noise. A generous distance from
the wall—also to the side—reduces bass and midrange overemphasis.
When placed on shelves, the best sound is achieved when the front
edge of the box aligns with the shelf edges or even protrudes slightly.

Speaker feet
The nuPro XS-8500 RC comes with vibration-absorbing feet. These also
ensure the necessary floor clearance due to the downward-facing sub-
woofer chassis. The soundbase cannot be set up without the feet.
Height adjustment
To allow for adjustments on uneven surfaces, the mini-spikes can be
slightly unscrewed.
