Adjusting the Brightness
(Exposure Compensation)
You can adjust the standard exposure set by the camera in 1/3-stop
increments in the range of -2 to +2.

Turning the Flash On

You can make the flash fire every time you shoot. At maximum wide angle,
the flash range is approximately 50 cm – 3.5 m (1.6 – 11 ft.), and at
maximum telephoto, it is 90 cm – 1.5 m (3.0 – 4.9 ft.)
Choose the exposure
compensation.
Touch

Adjust the brightness.
While looking at the screen, touch the
Exposure Compensation bar and drag left
or right to adjust the brightness, then
touch
.
You can also press the qr buttons or turn
the  dial to adjust the brightness.
You can also adjust the exposure
compensation from the FUNC. menu
(p.
47).
Choose h.
, then touch h.
Touch
Once set, h will appear.
After pressing the r button, you can also
press the qr buttons or turn the  dial
to choose h.
