Displaying Images

You can display images saved on your computer in the main window.
Click the folder in which images are saved.
The images inside the folder are
displayed in the image display
area.

You cannot display images saved on a memory card in the camera. You must save
images to your computer using EOS Utility or a third-party card reader.
A JPEG image set to Adobe RGB and taken with the EOS 10D, EOS DIGITAL REBEL/
300D DIGITAL or PowerShot Pro1 may be displayed with the sRGB color space
applied.
Images that cannot be displayed appear as [ ]. Refer to "Supported Images" for
information about the images that can be displayed (p.0-1).
Images that were shot with the camera held vertically with auto rotate function are
automatically displayed vertically.
When a third-party card reader is connected to your computer, you can insert the
memory card removed from the camera in the card reader, and display the saved
images. Refer to "Folder Structure and File Names" in the EOS Utility Instruction Manual
to select the folder with the shot images.
Start up Digital Photo Professional
Select the [Tools] menu
[Start EOS Utility].
[EOS Utility] starts up.
Connect the camera with your computer using the interface cable,
and set the camera's power switch to <ON>.
Click the [Starts to download images] button in [EOS Utility].
The images are downloaded to the computer and the downloaded images are
displayed in the Digital Photo Professional main window.
If images do not appear in the main window of Digital Photo Professional, select the
[Tools] menu
[Sync folder with EOS Utility] so that the folder to which EOS Utility
saves images and the folder displayed by Digital Photo Professional are
synchronized.
You can change the window so that the window that displays when you link to EOS
Utility is the edit image window (p.1-25).
Digital Photo Professional is compatible with image downloading with the EOS Utility
remote shooting function (p.1-24).
