INSTALLING THE POWER COMMANDER 6
1 Locate the engine control unit (ECU) under the hood.
2 Unplug the ECU connector on the MAG side.
3 Attach the PC6 connectors to the ECU and the factory
wiring harness.
Warning: Verify you have the correct part number
PC6 for your model snowmobile. Though the power
commanders look similar, they are wired differently
and electrical damage may result if the wrong PC6
is used.
P/N PC6-11007 fi ts 2005-2011 model 500, 600, and
700cc EFI snowmobiles except Pantera.
P/N PC6-11004 fi ts 2008-2017 model 800 and 1000cc
EFI snowmobiles.
The PC6 part number is on the bar code label on the
back of the enclosure.
4 Using the supplied Velcro, secure the PC6 to the top
of the ECU.
Make sure to clean both surfaces with the alcohol
swab before attaching.
5 Replace any removed panels.
