SETTING THE BRINE VALVE The standard salt dosage for the Scalemaster-Twin is 0.3 kg salt. The brine valve is prepared in the factory to take account of this. However, it is possible that the float may have moved during shipping and it is advisable to check the setting on each unit prior to installation.
Allow the brine drum to fill with water until the brine valve shuts off. The water level should be approximately one inch over the grid plate. TIP: If the cabinet does not fill with water, manually fill with 4 litres of mains water. Scalemaster-Twin Water Softener Installation Instructions...
