4, Lubricate the sickle bar mower as specified in the one,
five, and ten hour maintenance paragraphs.
5, Store the mower in a dry place.
REMOVING THE SICKLE KNIFE ASSEMBLY
If it should be necessary to remove the sickle knife for re¬
placement or repair proceed as follows:
1. See figure 14- Remove the three capscrews (A)and lock'
washers from the sickle knife,
2. Slide the sickle knife out of the right end of the sickle
bar.
3. Reinstall a new or repaired knife In the cutter bar and re-
place the three capscrews and lockwashers. These capscrews
should be tightened securely. If a torque wrench is available,
they should be torqued to 19-22 foot pounds.
