Powering OFF
1. Press and hold the rotary encoder control for ~3 seconds, until the display goes
blank and the LED is extinguished.
2. We recommend the mains power to the external DC power supply unit is turned off
when the SPP-100 is not in use.
Note that the display brightness, filter and gain settings persist when the unit is powered off
and on, but the SPP-100 always starts up with the rotary encoder in Gain control mode.
Amplifier Gain
A single press of the upper of the four buttons selects the Gain control. The
rotary encoder adjusts the overall amplifier gain through the eight available
settings between x100 and x20k.
Low Cut (High Pass) Filter
A single press of the upper middle button selects Low Cut Filter control.
Further presses will cycle through the three available filter ranges:
0.05Hz – 2.5Hz
2.5Hz – 50Hz
1Hz – 250Hz
The minimum and maximum values of the active range are displayed on the screen. The
rotary encoder adjusts the set value within each range. These values are displayed in the
middle of the green "virtual knob".
High Cut (Low Pass) Filter
A single press of the lower middle button selects High Cut Filter control. Further
presses of this button cycle through the two available filter ranges:
20Hz – 1,000Hz
200Hz – 25,000Hz
