A Motorola Original™ data kit lets you transfer
data between your phone and a computer or other
external device. You can:
• synchronize data between your phone and an
external device with Starfish TrueSync
Motorola accessory product. See the TrueSync user
guide for more information.
Note: TrueSync software is designed to synchronize
with basic features of many popular Personal
Information Management (PIM) software and
hardware products.
• use your phone as a modem to connect to the
Internet.
• use your phone to send and receive data and fax calls
on your computer or hand-held device.
Connecting Your Phone to an
External Device
Connect your phone to a computer or hand-held device
using a serial cable or a USB cable.
Note: Not all devices are compatible with serial cable or
USB cable connections. Check your external device for
specifications.
