  • Page 3 •  The ICM3 radio system is shown in this tutorial. The same installa5on method applies to the ICM1 and ICM2 radio systems.
  • Page 4 First •  Make sure your 9-3 is off and the igni5on switch is turned to either off or lock. •  Make sure your radio and ACC unit are turned off. •  Make sure you have the tools needed for installa5on.
  • Page 5 Open your ashtray and use the thin screwdriver to move the plas5c clip inwards. While the plas5c clip is moved inwards, gently pull on the leM side of the ashtray un5l it releases. If it has released, gently pull the right side of the ashtray un5l it releases.
  • Page 6 Do not remove ashtray yet. Leave your ashtray like this and proceed to next step.
  • Page 7 •  Remove the ACC console by prying loose both sides.
  • Page 8 Remove the ACC unit by pulling out the red connectors...
  • Page 9 Detach the EHU unit and CD player by moving the metal clips on both sides inwards. ehu ehu...
  • Page 10 ehu While pushing the metal clips inwards, pull the unit out. Be careful while pulling the unit out. If it seems to be stuck do not pull too hard not to damage the connectors on the back of the unit. Instead grab the wiring in the back and wiggle it around a liVle bit un5l it releases. (To remove unit you will have to put your gear selector in D if you have an automa8c transmission, or in 4 gear if you have an manual transmission)
  • Page 11 Disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the unit.
  • Page 12 Unpack your Saab Plus SP-BT01 Bluetooth module and get ready to install the device.
  • Page 13 Pull your ashtray out and disconnect the connector marked on the leM picture. Put the ring connector of the SP-BT01 Bluetooth module on the upper connector of the cigareVe lighter, and return the connector in place.
  • Page 14 The connec5on should look like shown above. Return the ashtray to its original posi5on. It should click into place if done right.
  • Page 15 Take the small tube shaped connector of the SP-BT01 Bluetooth module and push it in the space of the black wire going in to the quad lock connector so it touches the connector of the black wire. If the tube shaped connector does not fit immediately, push back the black wire or gently make some room with a small screwdriver for the connector.
  • Page 16 Take the 12 pin connector of the SP-BT01 Bluetooth module and insert it in the right slot as shown in the leM picture. From the other side of the quad lock connector it should look this. If you already have a connector in the slot, remove it and put in the 12 pin connector of the SP-BT01 Bluetooth module.
  • Page 17 Done!. You are now ready to reinstall EHU unit and cd player. Reconnect the 3 connectors shown on the picture on the leM and slide the EHU unit and cd player back into place. It should click into place if done correctly. Be gentle while sliding the EHU unit and CD player back into place. Make sure there is no strain on the wires of the SP- BT01 Bluetooth module. Make sure The Bluetooth module itself ehu and the 2 connectors for the ACC unit are on top of the EHU unit.
  • Page 18 Reconnect the ACC unit and slide it back into its original posi5on in the center console.
  • Page 19 All done! You are now ready to connect to the SP-BT01 Bluetooth module and start streaming audio. •  Turn your igni5on switch to ON. (the module is only powered when igni5on is ON) •  Push the CD buVon 2 5mes to ac5vate AUX func5on on your radio. The SID should say AUX. •  Search for the BLOOTH Bluetooth device on your phone and connect to it. •  Turn the volume on your phone to high. •  Stream music through your original Saab radio system.
