Safety
•
Handle the product with care, making sure not to damage
the surface of the solar cell and ensuring that it is not cove-
red with dust or affected by other contaminants.
•
The product must not be changed or modified in any way.
•
Do not let children play with the product.
This product is not intended for use as a general
light source.
Care and maintenance
•
Clean the light using a slightly moist cloth.
•
Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive
chemicals.
•
Be careful not to damage the solar cell.
•
If the product is not used for a long time, the battery
may become so discharged that the LED light does not
come on. In this case the product must be left in bright
sunlight for 10–20 hours to charge. The battery will charge
regardless of whether the power switch is set to ON or
OFF but quicker if set to OFF.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that the product should not
be disposed of with general household waste. This
applies throughout the entire EU. In order to prevent
any harm to the environment or health hazards caused
by incorrect waste disposal, the product must be
handed in for recycling so that the material can be
disposed of in a responsible manner. When recycling your
product, take it to your local collection facility or contact
the place of purchase. They will ensure that the product is
disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.

Instructions for use
Set the power switch on the bottom of the lamp to ON.
Things to consider:
•
The solar lamp should be placed in an area where it is
exposed to direct sunlight. Placing the lamp in an area
shaded by buildings, trees, walls, etc. will reduce the ability
of the solar cell to charge the battery.
•
The solar lamp should not be placed within the illumination
zone of other light sources such as car headlights or street
lights.
•
The solar lamp should not be placed next to direct sources
of heat such as a brazier or BBQ.
•
If you have several solar lights they can come on at
different times depending on the lighting conditions.

Battery replacement
The rechargeable battery can be replaced as follows:
1. Set the power switch to OFF.
2. Unscrew the retaining screw and
remove the battery compartment
cover.
3. Change the battery making sure
that the new battery is inserted with
the correct polarity.
4. Screw the battery cover back in
place again.
5. Set the power switch to ON.
