Audio Digital S/PDIF Optical
If your AV receiver is not compatible with HDMI, you can connect your player to your AV receiver
using S/PDIF optical (TOS-link) output as follows:
HDMI IN
TV / projector
HD Sound
S/PDIF can carry two channels
of uncompressed PCM audio
or compressed 5.1 surround
sound (such as DTS or Dolby
Digital codec); it cannot support
lossless surround formats that
require greater bandwidth like
DTS-HD or Dolby TrueHD.

Black Border
& Overscan
If you get a black border issue
all around your TV screen,
please go to your Tv settings
and set the correct aspect ratio
option to remove the black
border. (Fit to Screen option).

HDMI eARC
If your TV is compatible with
eARC, you can also connect
your media player to a HDMI
Input of your TV and connect
your AV receiver to the HDMI
eARC output.
