WARNING!
EXPLOSION HAZARD – THIS DEVICE SHALL BE REMOVED
FROM THE AREA KNOWN TO BE HAZARDOUS IF
MAINTENANCE IS REQUIRED.
TO PREVENT IGNITION OF FLAMMABLE OR COMBUSTIBLE
ATMOSPHERES, DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE SERVICING.
Ensure installaon of the device meets applicable state
and Naonal Electrical Code requirements.
The installaon of the device should only be performed
by a qualified installer or a factory representave.
CAUTION: All housing entries MUST be ghtly SEALED using
thread seal tape or sealant. Failure to seal all port entries
may allow moisture to enter the transmier housing, cause
damage to internal components, and void warranty.

5. Inductive / Capacitive Loads
1. Inducve
When using a micro switch with inducve loads such as motors, relays, solenoids, etc,
the contact will be subjected to a high induced voltage during opening of the contact (load circuit).
Such high induced voltage (transients) may cause damage to the micro switch or significantly reduce
its life. Protecve circuits such as RC (snubber), varistors or clamping diodes are recommended.

2. Capacive
When using a micro switch with capacive loads such as capacitors, incandescent lamps
or long cables, the contact will be subjected to a high surge (inrush) current.
Protecve circuits such as surge suppressors or current liming resistors are recommended.
