Germfree’s line of Cleanroom Pass-Through Boxes are designed to facilitate the safe transfer of materials between work areas within a cleanroom. Sealed pass-through boxes maintain complete environmental separation between work areas. The pass- through air eliminates cross contamination between work areas during both material ingress and egress. -

UP-Series Cleanroom Pass-Through User Manual UP-Series Overview All UP-Series pass-through boxes are constructed of stainless steel and feature an interlocking double door system. HEPA Purge pass-throughs add an extra level of protection by filtering the air within the chamber to an ISO-7 state before allowing materials to be withdrawn from the unit. -

UP-Series Cleanroom Pass-Through User Manual HEPA Filters HEPA filters are rated at 99.99% efficiency at 0.3μm particle size (the filter is more efficient for larger or smaller particles). Filters are sealed into the Pass-Through Chamber with stainless steel frames and EPDM gaskets. - Page 6 UP-Series Cleanroom Pass-Through User Manual Window Each pass-through is equipped with tempered glass viewing windows on each door of the chamber. Additional windows are provided on the embed, allowing a clear line of sight into the adjoining room. Stainless Steel The pass-through is constructed of all welded 12-to-16-gauge type 304 Stainless Steel with interior coved corners and radiused bends.

Install the finish frame with the VHB tape applied to the inner frame edges' face.

UP-Series Cleanroom Pass-Through User Manual Filter Care HEPA filter media is very fragile and is easily damaged. Care should be taken during the cleaning of the equipment to avoid wetting the HEPA filters. If a HEPA filter becomes wet, it should not be assumed that it has been damaged. Simply turn off the unit and allow sufficient time for the filter media to dry. - Page 13 UP-Series Cleanroom Pass-Through User Manual 11. Lower the frame as far as possible without applying force, then pull the HEPA filter off and slide it out. 12. Place the HEPA in a disposable bag. Wipe the outside of the bag with approved cleaning solution and place inside a second sealable bag, wipe bag down with cleaning solution.
