PROTECT YOURSELF. Follow these precautions:
Don't touch the outputs of the Instrument or any exposed test wiring carrying the
output signals. This Instrument can generate hazardous voltages and currents.
Don't bypass the power cord's ground lead with two-wire extension cords or plug
adaptors.
Don't disconnect the green and yellow safety-earth-ground wire that connects the
Da lug of the power receptacie to the chassis ground terminal (marked with
or ).
Don't hold your eyes extremely close to an rf output for a long time. The normally
nonhazardous low-power гі energy generated by the Instrument could possibly
cause eye Injury.
Don't plug In the power cord until directed to by the Installation Instructions.
Don't repair the Instrument unless you are a qualified electronics technician and
know how to work with hazardous voltages.
Pay attention to the WARNING statements. They point out situations that can
cause Injury or death.
Pay attention to the CAUTION statements. They point out situations that can
cause equipment damage.
