Connect an Icom IC-A110 or
IC-A120 to Mimer X-Link
Interface Power Supply
+12VDC / max 0,3A.
See wiring diagram on following pages.
Radio setup
No special programming is needed in the radio
A110: The volume control shall normally be set for "five clicks down"
from max.
A120: The volume control knob shall normally be set for 50%
volume. This is when the knob points straight up (12 o´clock).
Please note that the audio output from the radio in some cases
needs to be even lower when you patch to a radio with a very
sensitive microphone input.
You always need to test and listen so that the audio is at the same
level as between radio-radio and that it is not distorted.
Radio connection
The cable kit is connected through both the microphone connector and
the external speaker connector.
