Example: Setting switch positions (1) and (3, 6) to On selects base
address 290h for COMA, and 298h for COMB.
Switch settings for interrupt
COMA and COMB share an interrupt. The user must poll the ports to
determine which one generated the interrupt.
The available interrupts are IRQ5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 15. Table 2–4
shows the switch settings for selecting the interrupt. Setting a switch to On
selects the corresponding interrupt for COMA and COMB. By default the X–
COM–2 card is set for no interrupt (all switches Off).
