The PetSafe ScoopFree SmartSpin Self-Cleaning Litter Box may show a full waste box notification when it is not full due to sensor issues or incorrect detection. Possible reasons include:
1. Sensor Obstruction – Litter or debris may be blocking the sensor, causing false readings. 2. Misalignment – The waste bin or liner may not be properly positioned, affecting sensor accuracy. 3. Software Glitch – The app or system may have an error, requiring a reset or firmware update. 4. Overuse Detection – Frequent usage might trigger the notification even if the bin is not full.
To resolve the issue, check and clean the sensors, ensure the waste bin is correctly installed, and restart the system if needed.

When doing a cleaning cycle and returning to normal position, my litter box over rotates back and continues to try rotating, make it go beyond the end of the track and make a loud sound each time it falls backwards. After about 10 of these loud sounds it gives an error #4 saying the sphere is missing. What gives?
