Litter piles up in the back of the PetSafe Original tray because the tray is not deep enough to hold a sufficient amount of clumping litter, which prevents proper clumping and causes waste to accumulate.

My litter box does not turn on anymore. I have tried different outlets just to make sure I wasn't having a shortage. What should I do? Do I replace the whole litter box or is there a way to rest the litter box?

If your Petsafe ScoopFree Original litter box does not turn on, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the power adapter is securely connected to the back of the litter box frame and plugged into a working wall outlet. 2. If the rake is not at the home position, it should automatically move there when power is connected. 3. Check that the litter box frame is level and properly seated on the litter tray. 4. Ensure the waste trap cover is correctly installed and the magnets have clicked into place. 5. If the indicator light is flashing, check for and clear any obstructions on the detection sensors, then unplug and plug the unit back in to reset it.
These steps may reset the unit. Replacement is not necessary unless the unit still does not function after following these steps.
