The Mira Connect AV control system supports thousands of devices and is used in a wide variety of applications.
A typical application will involve Mira Connect controlling one or more displays, a DSP device, video switching, and other
equipment, including contact closures for raising or lowering a screen.

  • Page 2 If you don’t already have an account, you’ll need to create one. There is no cost to create a Mira Portal account. Next, you’ll pair a Mira Connect to the room. Use the Preview Mira Connect in a web browser feature if you don’t have a Mira Connect yet.
  • Page 3 Step 3. Pair Mira Connect to the room in Mira Portal. If you have a Mira Connect appliance, connect it to the network and power it on. Mira Connect appliances can use a PoE network connection and/or use a separate power supply. Mira Connect requires on‑site WAN access to pair with the room in Mira Portal.

  • Page 7 To find the correct IP address, navigate the product’s user interface and find the IP address or set a static IP address. Edit the equipment in Mira Portal to change the IP address used by Mira Connect to the correct IP address of the device.

    • Test that Mira Connect can power on and power off the device using Wake‑on‑LAN. If the device will not power on, double check the MAC address for the device, and confirm that the device’s Wake‑on‑LAN mode has been enabled. See the product’s documentation for how to enable Wake‑on‑LAN.
