Special Notes on LCD Monitors The following are normal with the LCD monitor and do not indicate a problem. • Due to the nature of the fluorescent light, the screen may flicker during initial use. Turn off the power switch and then turn it on again to make sure the flicker disappears.
Note: When using a microfiber cloth: 1. Make sure the microfiber cloth is clean. 2. Wipe the dirty areas in one direction until the dirt is removed. *If there is still residual dirt, use other clean section of the microfiber cloth to wipe the dirt.
Accessibility Be sure that the power outlet you plug the power cord into is easily accessible and located as close to the equipment operator as possible. When you need to disconnect power from the equipment, be sure to unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
Using Electrical Power This product should be operated from the type of power indicated on the marking label. Attaching/Removing the base 1. Remove the support base, support stand, and accessories from the package. 2. Attach the support stand onto the support base and turn the thumb screw at the bottom of the base in a clockwise direction to secure the support stand onto the support base.

5. At an angle of about 45 degrees insert the support stand tabs into the holes on the rear side of the display. 6. Push the support stand downwards until the release latch clicks in place, indicating that the support stand has been locked securely in place.
Installing the Shade Covers 1. Align and place the left and right shade covers on the left and right sides of the monitor. 2. Use a screwdriver to tighten the four captive screws that secure the left and right side shade covers in place. 3.
Attaching/Removing the base (for VESA wall mount) To mount the monitor using a VESA wall mount: 1. Do not install the monitor support stand and base. 2. If the monitor support stand and base have been already installed, remove them by reversing the previous attaching/removing the base instructions.
Installing the VESA Bracket To install the VESA bracket onto the monitor’s support stand: 1. Ensure that the VESA bracket is correctly oriented such that its arrow is facing upward and then align the VESA bracket to the two screw holes on the back of monitor’s support stand.

Connecting the power cord • Check first to make sure that the power cord you use is the correct type required for your area. • The monitor has a universal power supply that allows operation in either 100/120 V AC or 220/240 V AC voltage area. No user-adjustment is required.
Low Blue Light Mode This display features Low Blue Light capabilities which help reduces the blue light emissions. When the Low Blue Light feature is set at level 4, it will also be compliant with TÜV Rheinland’s low blue light certification requirements. When Low Blue Light is set to level 1/2/3/4, the wavelength of the blue light that is between 400 nm and 500 nm will be reduced, which can provide optimal image quality while helping relax eye strain.

Changing the Refresh Rate The monitor is set to a default refresh rate of 60Hz, while supporting a refresh rate of up to 160Hz. If your PC supports a refresh rate higher than the default rate, follow the steps below to toggle the refresh rate to a higher setting. CAUTION: If your PC does not support a 160Hz refresh rate, do not change the refresh rate to a higher rate, doing so may cause the monitor to freeze.
