NOTE: As with any electronics maintenance, always unplug the unit from the power outlet to prevent the risk of electrical shock.
The Retrolife HQ-KZ018 is a high-fidelity turntable with a built-in 50-watt speaker, bringing you excellent sound
quality and a great music experience. In order to ensure that you can enjoy the wonderful music brought by this
turntable for a long time, here are some suggested use and maintenance methods:
1.Placement:
Place the HQ-KZ018 vinyl record player on a solid surface to ensure its balance and stability. Avoid placing the
turntable in direct sunlight, high temperature, humidity or dusty environment to protect its appearance and
internal structure.
2.Using the stylus:
Please make sure the stylus is in good condition before use, avoid using old and worn stylus, so as not to cause
damage to the record and affect the sound quality. Check the stylus regularly for wear and replace as necessary.
3.Record storage:
Before playing the record, please check whether the record is clean, if there is dust or dirt, use a professional
record cleaning tool to gently clean it. When you're done playing, store your records in their sleeves or racks out of
direct exposure to dust and sunlight.
4.Adjusting the speed:
HQ-KZ018 supports playback speeds of 33 ⅓ , and 45 revolutions per minute (rpm). When playing records with
different RPM, make sure to adjust the RPM switch to match the record's requirements for the best sound quality.
5.Cleaning and Maintenance:
Regularly clean the exterior surface of the vinyl record player and the acrylic cover, wipe with a soft, clean cloth,
and avoid using cleaners containing alcohol or corrosive substances.
6.Volume control:
HQ-KZ018 is equipped with a built-in 50-watt audio system. Please adjust the volume moderately when using it to
avoid excessively high volume for a long time to protect the audio equipment and your hearing.
7.Use Bluetooth function:
HQ-KZ018 is equipped with Bluetooth function, which can be connected to smart devices to play digital music.
When using the Bluetooth function, please ensure that the connection with the device is stable, and avoid signal
instability caused by excessive distance or obstacles.
