Use and Care Instructions

PRIOR TO SETTING UP AND OPERATING YOUR RETROLIFE PRODUCT
NOTE: As with any electronics maintenance, always unplug the unit from the power outlet to prevent the risk of electrical shock.
The Retrolife R517 is a high-fidelity turntable with a built-in 30-watt speaker, bringing you superior sound quality
and a great music experience. In order to ensure that you can enjoy the wonderful music brought by this turntable
for a long time, here are some suggested use and maintenance methods:

1.Placement:

Place the R517 record player on a stable surface, making sure it keeps an appropriate distance from other
equipment to avoid vibration and resonance. Avoid placing the turntable in direct sunlight, high temperature,
humidity or dusty environment, so as to protect its appearance and internal structure.

2.Using the stylus:

Please make sure the stylus is in good condition before use, avoid using old and worn stylus, so as not to cause
damage to the record and affect the sound quality. Check the stylus regularly for wear and replace as necessary.

3.Record storage:

Before playing the record, please check whether the record is clean, if there is dust or dirt, use a professional
record cleaning tool to gently clean it. When you're done playing, store your records in their sleeves or racks out of
direct exposure to dust and sunlight.

4.Adjust the volume:

R517 has a built-in 30-watt audio system, please adjust the volume moderately when using it, and avoid excessively
high volume for a long time, so as to protect the audio equipment and your hearing.

5.Cleaning and Maintenance:

Regularly clean the exterior surface of the vinyl record player and the acrylic cover, wipe with a soft, clean cloth,
and avoid using cleaners containing alcohol or corrosive substances. Internal maintenance is recommended to be
carried out by professional technicians.

6.Avoid excessive use:

Although the R517 is designed to be durable, to prolong its life, please avoid excessive use of turntables and
stereos. After each use, please turn off and unplug the power plug.

7.Maintenance of the power cord:

Regularly check whether the connection of the power cord is firm, and avoid the power cord from being stressed
or twisted to ensure safe use.
