    The SL500 modem is designed for use with a 50 Ohm SMA male antenna. The SL500 modem starter kit comes with an antenna suitable for many applications, but any suitable antenna may be used with the SL500 modem. Siretta also sells an extensive range of antennas suitable for most applications. Any antenna used should be capable of handling at least 2 W of output power.

By default, software updates are delivered over the air via the sirettaLINK Management Portal. This remains true provided the default profile is being used.
