WARNING

small parts during the installation of this product. The disposable filter cartridge should be replaced every 6 months at the rated
capacity, or sooner if a noticeable reduction in flow rate occurs.

When to Replace the Filter
The Dispenser LCD located on the exterior on the refrigerator has a "replace water filter" alert that will illuminate in orange when the
life of the filter reaches 90% of usage. Once 100% of filter usage is reached the water filter status light will change to read "expired" in
red. At the same time as the status light changes to read "expired", a confirm filter change indicator will illuminate just below the
replace water filter indicator with a flashing bar. Press and hold for 3 seconds, a countdown to reset will illuminate and when the reset
is complete, the "expired" indicator will turn off. If your refrigerator is different, please refer to your owner's manual for filter reset
instructions.

Removing/Installing the Filter Cartridge
Refer to your refrigerator owner's manual and follow the removal/installation procedure as they have outlined.
Procedure if located in the toe kick area (bottom front)
Remove the filter assembly in the front freezer bottom toe kick
area.
1. Open the filter holder door.
2. To remove the old filter, hook your finger in the hole on the end
and pull to the right from the filter holder hinge and out.
3. Align the new filter with the triangular blocks facing the filter
holder door hinge on the left and insert the filter.

4. Push the filter in until it seats into position. You may hear 2
clicks when it is fully seated.
5. Close the filter holder door.
6. Run 2.5 gallons of water through the dispenser to purge the
new filter.
