  • Page 11 OPERATION OF THE MILKING MACHINE TK4-2PS 1. Adjust your vacuum regulator. Before turning on your machine, pull all of the black rubber plugs on the top of your milking clusters out. Pull out the black rubber plugs 2. Turn on the milking machine and start adjusting your vacuum regulator. Turn the middle knob on the regulator to the right to increase the pressure and to the left to decrease the pressure.
  • Page 12 3. Remove the first milking claw from the machine, push in the butterfly plug that is situated on the top of the milking claw, and fold the four teat liners against the head of the milking claw. Having the silicone liners/inflations clamped keeps the pressure steady.
  • Page 13 4. Bring the claw under the udder of the cow and position the first liner/inflation beneath one teat. Keep the other 3 liners clamped. This will allow vacuum to build in the milking claw. 5. Once you are directly under the teat with the liner, put the teat at the opening of the liner and unclamp it.

HOW TO TURN OFF YOUR MACHINE AND FINISH WITH THE MILKING PROCESS Once the milk begins to slow down in each cow (you can see this in the clear cover of the claw) and is about to complete, pull the butterfly plug up at the top of the claw.
