    1 Product description DOL 9940-2 is a feed weigher with a portion size of 40 kg, which is used for precise weighing of the feed con- sumption in livestock houses. It consists of a dust and splash proof cabinet with feed supply at the top and feed discharge at the bottom.

The calibration procedure is described in the Technical Manual for the house computer.

    DOL 9940-2 Feed Weigher 5 Maintenance instructions It is recommended that feed weigher is cleaned by means of compressed air at each batch change. Under no circumstances should a high pressure cleaner be used for internal cleaning of the feed weigher, as this could damage the load cells, the magnet coil and the load amplifier.

    DOL 9940-2 Feed Weigher 7 Troubleshooting/testing 7.1 Signal levels of the feed weigher A feed weigher can be shared between 2 house controllers. One house controller is to be set up as controlling. This means that this house controller controls the distribution shutter of the weigher (and silos). For this pur- pose, it uses a relay.
