    DETACHING AND ATTACHING THE FRONT PANEL You can detach the front panel from the unit and carry it with you when you leave your car unattended. When you carty the front panel out of your car, use the supplied carrying case. Before detaching the front panel, remove the disc to prevent possible damage to thle unit.

    SETTING THE CLOCK Press PWR to turn the unit on. Press and hold DISP for more than 2 seconds. Press TUNE 7 to set the hour. to eet the minute. Press TUNE Press DISP. The clock starts working from O second. Having the clock displayed while the unit is turned on Press DISP.

    To turn the unit off Press PWR. Note The “ST” indicator lights up when the tuned-in station is broadcasting in stereo and the reception is good. PRESETTING STATIONS Press PWR to turn the unit on. Press BAND to select a desired bsnd from among FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, and AM2.
  • Page 8 PRESETTING STATIONS You can manually preset stations that have not been selected by auto memory. Press PWR to turn the unit on. Prees BAND to select the band from among FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, snd AM2. Tune in the station that you wish to preset with TUNE Y or TUNE Prees one of the preset station buttons 1 to 6 for appro~mately 2 seconds.

    MY INFORMATION SWITCH You can timer-activate the radio for a daily radio program. The unit turnson and off in Radio mode at the preset time automatically. 2,4,7 With the unit off, press snd hold MY INFO for more than 2 seconds. The “PO indication flashes in the display window.

    SOUNDADJUSTMENTS H-BASS MUTE Press PWR to turn the unit on, Press SEL to select the mode that you wish to adjust from: VOL (volume), BAS (bass), TRE(trebie), BAL(balance), FAD (fader). The following indicators appear in cyclic order. pm+m”m”m”ml The selected mode switches to Volume mode if you do not proceed with step 3 within 5 seconds.

    CONNECTING A PORTABLE CASSETTE/ MD PLAYER OR OTHER EQUIPMENT Press PWR to turn the unit on. If a disc is inserted, remove it to prevent possible damage to the unit. Connect a potiab!e cassette/MD player, etc. via the TAPE/MD IN jack (3.5-mm dia.) on the unit.
