Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven. To disconnect, turn any control to off, then remove plug from wall outlet.

In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FIRST USE Remove all packing materials and stickers from the kettle except for the rating label, which should remain on the unit. Be sure that all parts are included before discarding any packaging. Gently wipe down the exterior of the kettle with a damp cloth or paper towel. - Page 11 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO MAKE TEA WITH THE TEA INFUSER Your favourite tea becomes a one-pot wonder when you brew right in the kettle with the included infuser. The kettle lifts easily off its base for convenient filling at the sink and cord-free serving; it can also be returned to the base from any direction, so it works well for both right- and left-handed users.
- Page 12 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Once the water has boiled, the blue LED lights will turn off and the kettle will automatically power off. Carefully lift off the kettle lid. Slide the tea-filled infuser onto the underside of the lid (a slight twist helps), insert it into the kettle and press the lid to close.
- Page 13 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS SPECIAL SAFETY FEATURE: BOIL-DRY PROTECTION The kettle comes equipped with boil-dry protection. While you should never heat the kettle without water at least to the MIN line, should the unit go dry or start without water, it will automatically shut off completely to avoid damaging the heating element.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE The kettle is super easy to clean. Simply follow the directions below. Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Clean the interior of the kettle as needed by removing the lid and infuser and carefully washing the inside with soapy water. Rinse the inside of the kettle thoroughly. - Page 15 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE DESCALING Due to minerals in water, deposits may form on the base of the kettle and cause discolouration. To get the best performance from your kettle, descale it from time to time. Frequency will depend on the hardness of your water and how often you use the kettle.

INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION AVANT L’EMPLOI INITIAL Retirez tous les matériaux de conditionnement et les étiquettes de la bouilloire, sauf celle de régime nominal qui doit rester sur l’appareil. Assurez-vous qu’il ne manque pas de pièces avant de jeter tout emballage. Soulevez délicatement le couvercle de la bouilloire. Coulissez l’infuseur rempli de thé sous le couvercle (en le pivotant légèrement), insérez l’infuseur dans la bouilloire et appuyez sur le couvercle pour fermer.

Alors que vous ne devez jamais faire fonctionner la bouilloire sans eau, mais seulement lorsque l’eau arrive au moins à MIN, si l’appareil se retrouve à sec ou démarre sans eau, il s’arrête automatiquement pour éviter d’endommager l’élément chauffant.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN Il est super facile de nettoyer la bouilloire. Suivez simplement les directives ci-dessous. Débranchez la bouilloire et laissez-la refroidir complètement avant de la nettoyer.
