    Operational Setup Step 1: Power on the antenna. A. Connect the power cable to a power outlet and confirm the router has turned on. Step 2: Connect the router to a computer. A. Use an ethernet cable to connect a computer to one of the LAN ports on the router. Step 3: Login to Cradlepoint NetCloud.
  • Page 22 Step 4: Select the antenna in the device list on Cradlepoint NetCloud. A. On the left side of the page, select STATUS. From the dropdown menu, select INTERNET and then CONNECTIONS. B.   • Page 23 For best antenna performance, operate the antenna with the lid closed and the case oriented with the cable glands on the bottom.

    Pole Mount Setup Select the mounting location. A. To avoid de-tuning or interference issues, install the antenna as far away as possible from other devices (minimum 24 inches), including lights, AC units, routers, and other antennas. B. A clear line of sight to the nearest cell tower is recommended for best performance. C.

    Optional: Additional Pole Mount/Wall Mount Setup (PTA1002) The PTA1002 Pole/Wall Mount Bracket Assembly is designed to be used with: A. Poles with a diameter larger than 3.5” I. The gear clamp is not provided and must be purchased separately. II. The gear clamp must be chosen based on the diameter of the pole. B.
  • Page 27 4. For the Wall Mount Concrete/Brick Walls (Walls that are not DryWall) : A. Drill twelve 0.25” diameter holes into the wall. Mark the locations of the holes as shown below. Use a 1/4” diameter drill bit to drill holes at the marked locations.
