Register a handset Your handset and base have been registered in advance. If for some reasons, the handset has not been registered to the base, the handset screen will display “REGISTRATION”. Please follow the following steps to register a handset. 1.
CALL LOG Caller ID service will be available from your telephone service provider, and a fee may be charged. Your telephone can save up to 30 calls in the call log (including date/time information). When the telephone rings, the caller ID will be displayed on the screen. If the number matches an entry in your phonebook, the name saved on the phonebook will be displayed along with its number.

PRIVATE PHONEBOOK Your handset can save up to 100 contact details including names and telephone numbers. The maximum length of each number in the phonebook is 20 digits, and the maximum length of a name is 10 characters. The phonebook will save the names in alphabetical order. If there are several handsets registered to the base, the phonebook items can be viewed from any handsets.

ANNOUNCEMENT The announcement is the greeting that callers hear when calls are answered by the answering system. The telephone has a default announcement. You can use this announcement or record your own announcement. To record a new announcement: 1. In standby mode, press .
NUMBER OF RINGS You can set the answering system to answer a call after 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 rings or in tollsaver. After selecting tollsaver, the answering system will answer a call in 2 rings; if there is no message, the answering system will answer a call in 4 rings.
