Mounting The Grifco Holding Magnet is designed to be directly mounted to a rigid surface or pre-fitted to a Grifco Fire Shutter Opener or Hoist. The supplied retainer plates can be used during the initial installation to secure the attracting plate to the holding magnet surface with or without power. -

MAINTENANCE The Holding Magnet should be checked periodically to ensure that it is functioning correctly. Ensure the door is clear of any obstructions and that people cannot walk under the door during the test. Press the red test button on the magnet enclosure to release the attracting plate. The door will be released and will close. Once the door has closed, re-attach the attraction plate to the magnet. -
