2.3 Maintenance and repair

Regular maintenance or inspection of the unit is required every two years
and must be carried out by MTS Systemtechnik GmbH.
Repair work is limited to the exchange of the inner cover. New covers (with / without
mesh) are available at MTS Systemtechnik. Follow the MTS assembly manual at the
appendix!
During the warranty period only the manufacturer is authorized of repairing the
modules or the assemblies.
If it is impossible to reach a correct function of inner units, test the feed through of the
interfaces of the Shielding Box by checking the continuity of the separate lines.
The interfaces have to be connected like it is described in the wiring table. If the
wiring of the Shielding Box is not carried out correctly, send the box for repair to the
manufacturer company immediately.

For maintenance or repair of the unit first switch off power a n d
remove the power cable (outside of the Shielding Box)!
Prior to maintenance or repair all connected lines have to be removed!
