Chapter 1 - System Information 1.1 About this manual This configuration guide provides detailed instructions for programming your barcode scanner to meet your application’s requirements. Barcode scanners are factory programmed for the most common communication settings, but If you need to change these settings, programming is accomplished by scanning the barcodes in this guide.

1.2 How to Configure the Scanner (Cont.) In most cases the scanner will only need to scan one programming barcode to change a parameter, but for some parameters multiple programming barcodes must be scanned to complete programming. For example: Hexadecimal barcodes. For example: prefix, suffix, etc. Numeric barcodes.
Chapter 2 – General Setup 2.1 Pairing with the cradle By default the scanner will come paired to the included cradle, if you need to re-pair your cradle or add additional scanners to your cradle use the steps below. To pair more then one scanner to your cradle, scan the barcode on page 7 with the paired scanner, before pairing any additional scanners.
