Maintenance and Service Work on electrical equipment is only to be performed by qualified electricians. De- energize the machine and system components before performing any work on the device. The insulation on all live parts is to be inspected regularly for damage Explosion protection The device has been constructed for use with potentially explosive substances.
Oil and waste oil, lubricants, coolants, and additives. Fuels with a flash point above 55°C (e.g. diesel fuel). 2.2 Supplementary information for TecLevel eco 4G This device has no explosion protection. It must not be set up in an area subject to a potentially explosive atmosphere.

Installation 3.1 Pressure transducer The pressure transducer should be fitted into the tank, and vertically suspended as shown in the diagram below. It is designed to enable the fitter to seal the inlet point of the sensor so that it is watertight. The standard cable is 5 m (16.4 ft) long, and this should be taken into account for the desired installation position of the TecLevel with tanks that are nearly 5 m (16.4 ft) in height.

necessary, a fixed offset of 50 mm can be included in determining the fluid level of the tank. The cable gland with strain relief ensures that the cable remains fixed in position. Tighten to approx. 1.8 Nm. PTFE tape can be used for sealing the NPT adapter. We recommend removing the protective cap from the pressure transducer whenever it is used in diesel fuels or lubricants, which tend to become viscous at low temperatures.

The sensor cable should be installed so that it points downward. Vent plug. Ensure that it does not become clogged; otherwise, this could result in a measurement error. A connection to the ground of the tank or to another suitable earthing point is recommended.
Commissioning Hold the supplied magnet against the specified hotspot. Four brief beeps will sound at one second intervals followed by a long beep to indicate that the device has been activated and is attempting to establish a connection to the network.
You can start with the 14-day trial version of the level module. You can then save the data or even configure the tank right away and then save the data.
6.1 Battery change Remove the sticker from the underside of the device. Undo the 2 screws and remove them. Separate the upper plastic part from the lower plastic part. Remove the existing battery and replace it with a new battery. Ensure that the battery connection is correctly wired and inserted in the pin strip of the circuit board.
If necessary, remove the old O-ring and replace it with a new O-ring. O-ring: 82.5 x 2.2 silicone (30 Shore) Ensure that the O-ring is correctly fitted. Connect the upper plastic part with the lower plastic part and fasten with 2 HEX screws with a tightening torque of 2 Nm.
