    This manual contains important information on the functions of the SPOTCHEM EL SE-1520. The SPOTCHEM EL (SE-1520) instrument is intended for the quantitative and automated measurement of sodium (Na), potassium (K) and chloride (Cl) ions in whole blood, serum and plasma. This instrument is intended for use with SPOTCHEM E-Plate electrolyte plates.

    Before operating the SE-1520, please read this manual carefully. This manual contains outlines, instructions for the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting for the SPOTCHEM EL SE-1520. Follow the instructions in this manual in order not to defeat the purpose of protective features of the instrument.

By performing calibration, the problems caused by differences among lots are solved and measurement accuracy is maintained.
