6. Tap Tempo and BPM
BIAS Modulation Twin comes with a Tap Tempo footswitch that allows you to quickly deter-
mine the BPM value to control LFO rate. Two taps represent a beat (¼ note) and the duration
of two taps (beats) decides the *BPM value.
For example, when tap twice for
0.5 sec
2 tap / 0.5sec = a beat / 0.5 sec = 120 beats / 60 sec = 120 BPM
After deciding a BPM value with Tap Tempo, you can still tweak RATE knob to change the
note subdivision to speed up or slow down LFO rate. Turn RATE knob to 12 o'clock for ¼ note.

7. Expression Pedal
BIAS Modulation Twin supports expression pedals, allowing you to continuous control
parameters live on stage. BIAS Modulation Twin can work with standard TRS expression
pedals for continuous control by adjusting the knobs on your BIAS Modulation Twin.
・ Calibration
1. Plug in an expression pedal with a cable fitted with
a TRS plug.
2. Engage the preset you want to control with the
expression pedal.
3. Hold down the
Wireless
button on the pedal's rear
panel to engage Calibration
mode;LED
BYPASS footswitch will start to blink. Set the
expression pedal to the minimum position and turn
the knobs to the desired value. Press BYPASS
footswitch to save the values in minimum position.
4. Then LED will blink faster as you finish calibrating
the minimum position. Turn the expression pedal
to the maximum position and turn the knobs to the
desired value. Press BYPASS footswitch again to
save and leave calibration mode.
*Hold down the Wireless button to leave calibration mode directly.
・ Control
Once you're done calibrating, simply press the exp. pedal and the parameters will change
linearly between the minimum and maximum values.
