ADVICE & IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
ƒ Do not look directly at LEDs.
ƒ Only use high-quality Alkaline batteries or Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
DO NOT USE rechargeable LITHIUM batteries, these will damage your
product as they exceed the rated voltage.
ƒ Do not use batteries of different brands or mix old and new batteries.
ƒ Please recycle used batteries responsibly.
ƒ Battery life is affected by different battery brands, different ambient
temperatures and different lighting modes.
ƒ If the batteries are installed and the product does not work, try checking
for the following: (1) Press the switch button several times. (2) Check that
the batteries are inserted the correct way around according to polarity
markings. (3) Check there is no debris on the contacts that might affect
the battery connection. (4) Check there is no water or dampness inside
the product, if so, allow it to fully dry out and try again.
ƒ If you are not using the product for long periods of time (3 weeks or
more), remove the batteries to prevent battery leakage and battery
depletion. Battery leaks are not covered under warranty.
ƒ If a battery has leaked or gets damaged, fluids or residue can leak out.
AVOID contact as this can lead to skin irritation and/or burns. If skin
contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, seek
medical advice. Seek immediate medical assistance if lithium battery fluid
comes into contact with the eyes.
ƒ Protect batteries from heat, intense sunlight, fire, water and moisture.
ƒ Sometimes the aluminium housing can get warm/hot. If it gets too hot,
turn down the brightness or switch off and allow to cool.
ƒ Do not operate in direct sunlight or extreme temperature conditions
(below -20˚C or above 40˚C).
ƒ LEDs can become warm/hot when switched on; DO NOT touch and
NEVER place face down on any surface – risk of fire! Even once the

ƒ Do not use the device if there is any visible damage.
ƒ Do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of flammable materials
or gases.
ƒ Children under 12 years of age should only use the product under adult
supervision.
ƒ Do not disassemble or attempt to modify the product; this will void the
warranty and can be dangerous. Improper use or modification is not
covered under warranty.
ƒ Take care not to let lenses come into contact with hard/sharp objects,
damage/scratches to lenses will affect light output.
ƒ Clean with a dry or slightly moist, clean, lint-free cloth and a mild detergent
if required. Do not use cleaners that contain abrasives or solvents.
ƒ This product is water resistant to IPX4 – DO NOT SUBMERGE. If the
product has been subjected to excessive moisture/water the warranty
may be void.
ƒ This product has a 1 year standard warranty (or extended to 2 years
once registered online at WWW.UNILITE.CO.UK/WARRANTY) against
manufacturing faults and defects. It does not cover normal wear and tear,
modifications, accidental damage or poor maintenance. Unilite standard
warranty does not cover disposable batteries that have leaked or the
use of incorrect chargers and cables that can damage rechargeable
batteries.
ƒ Do not dispose of this device in normal household waste. It must be
disposed of via an authorised electrical appliance disposal centre or at
your local waste disposal unit.
ƒ Please recycle packaging responsibly.
ƒ Keep these instructions for future reference or for subsequent
possessors.
