    About The PRE-1 General Design The PRE-1 is a sophisticated stereo preamplifi er with a built-in headphone amplifi er. It is designed with maximum sonic performance and fl exibility in mind. The preamplifi er features fully confi gural inputs such as individual naming, gain settings and deactivating of those inputs not in use.

    Basic Connection Follow these steps for setting up your system in this sequence: 1. Place the PRE-1 as per the instructions on page 5 2. Connect inputs and outputs to the preamplifi er 3. Connect mains power cable to the preamplifi er and turn it on 4.

    Exit standby and turn on the preamplifi er by pressing the Standby button on the Power Off front panel or the On button on the remote. To put the PRE-1 in standby press the standby button on the front panel or the Off button on the remote control. Adjusting Volume Turning the volume control knob clockwise increases the volume.

    In the Input Gain Menu, select the input to be adjusted by turning the Input knob Factory reset will change all settings of the PRE-1 to default. Go to Other Settings and or using the direct input selection buttons on the remote. Then use the volume choose Factory Reset.
