    General Design The main aim for the Gato Audio design team was to create the best sounding power amplifi er possible inside a compact exterior. Secondly, we wanted to create a line of products where design was not simply a question of a good-looking face plate, but a more complete product where form and function goes hand in hand.

    VU Meter Temperature The PWR-222 core temparture can be read out in the display. The scale is illustrated by two white end brackets. The pointer will show the temperature. The normal working temperature for the amplifi er is right about 12 o’clock.

    User Manual Protection warnings The PWR-222 is equipped with a sophisticated protection circuit to protect the amplifi er and/or the connected equipment in case of failure. The PWR-222 features three warning signals: Temperature: If the amplifi er develops too much heat and reach a high internal and external temperature it will automatically shut down.
