Target - software update procedure for MAC OS users
Please follow these instructions to update your MXL017 Target Satellite System
STEP 1 - Download file
1.
You need an empty/blank USB flash memory stick, no
larger than 32Gb, to copy the file onto. Please make sure
it is formatted to FAT or FAT32. See page 4 for more details.

Find the software update section on the Maxview website
https://maxview.co.uk/software-updates/
Click on the Target Update File link to go do a
separate download page.
6.
Drag the file from the "DOWNLOADS" folder onto your
desktop then straight onto the USB stick icon on your
desktop.

Insert your USB memory stick into an empty slot on your
Mac desktop or laptop.
4.
Click on the DOWNLOAD button on the screen to begin
downloading the HEX File onto your system.
5.
To locate the downloaded HEX file, search for your
systems "DOWNLOADS" Folder.
7.
The update file should now be on your USB stick ready
for updating control box safely remove USB stick.
