- Do not expose batteries to excessive heat, throw them in a fire, recharge them or try to open them, as this could cause them to leak or explode. - Remove the batteries from the remote control if you are not using it for a long period of time (several weeks). -
Page 4: Remote Control Tv Functions
Remote control TV functions Most of your television’s functions are available via the menus that appear on the screen.The remote control supplied with your set can be used to navigate through the menus and to configure all the general settings. -
Page 5: Dvd Functions
Stop play, accelerated search or slow motion and access the main menu (press twice to replay from the start). STOP When the player is stopped, depending on the model, press this button for several seconds to open/close the disc tray or eject the discy. -

: DVD player : satellite receiver, cable network : hi-fi system, Home Cinema amplifier : any appliance. For instance, if you have two video recorders, you can program the button to control one video recorder, and program the button to control the other one. -

Page 9: Manual Channel Set-Up
Installation select in the menu. If you wish to go through the whole initial set-up process, put the TV in standby mode, then hold PR ¹ VOL ¨ down the buttons on the television until the menu displays. Proceed as for the initial set-up. -

- for channels 1 to 9, press the corresponding button; - for channels 10 to 99, - press the tens digit for a few seconds to display it on the screen, then press the units digit. For instance, for programme 24, press and hold 2 to display 2-, then press 4;... -

Flat batteries When the batteries are flat a message appears on the screen when you press a button on the remote control. You should change the batteries and reprogram the remote control (see page 6). -

Photo Mode : improves quality and stability of still pictures.When this function is enabled still pictures are detected automatically and their resolution enhanced. Check the box to enable this function by pressing Note: This function is only available for certain audio-visual sources. -
Page 15: Setting The Time
Note: If the power supply is disrupted (i.e. the set is switched off using the on/off button or unplugged, or there is an electrical fault), the time will disappear if it has been entered manually. You must reset it. We therefore recommend you find the time on a channel and check that it is correct. -
Page 16: Parental Control
The parental control functions allow you to limit your children’s access to the television. You can do this by locking the buttons on your TV set, thereby barring access to certain channels and/or AV programmes.These functions are protected using a PIN code. -
Page 17: Pip - Single/Split Screen In Tv Mode
The personal code is deleted every time you disable the parental control function.This means you have to redefine it every time you enable this function again. Whenever you enter your code all the locks are disabled until the set is put in standby again. -
Page 18: Pip - Single/Split Screen In Pc Mode
: PIP is disabled, full screen in PC mode. - Single : a channel or AV programme is displayed in a frame in a corner of the screen. - Split screen : the screen is divided vertically in two and the PIP is displayed on the right Return side. -

Select press to confirm. The first page appears and the first programme on the list is the one that is showing at that moment. Important: If the broadcasting company amends the pages on Teletext, your television will Searching... -
Page 23: Checking Your Selections In The Review Screen
To select a programme in the list, use the à à ¨ ¨ keys. Notes: - This function is only useful if you have a video recorder which has the NexTView Link function and is connected to an AV1 socket. In this case, the television will automatically programme the video recorder. -

“.mp3” extension. General name format:Title.mp3. When composing your title ensure that you use 8 characters or less, have no spaces in the name, and avoid the use of special characters including ( . , / , \ , = ,+).• Use a decompression transfer rate of at least 128 kB/sec (kilobytes/second) when recording mp3 files. -

It was developed in collaboration with .The main advantage of the mp3 format is that it means CD-quality music tracks can be stored on a personal computer in user-friendly compressed files. -

Note: When one of the icons is greyed out, this means that the relevant function is not available on the disc being played. The invalid symbol indicates that the function selected or the button used is not available at this stage. -

Choose the angle with the buttons to view the different camera angles available. Notes: - If the disc was recorded using a single camera angle, this function is not available. There are very few discs offering more than one angle. Camera angle... -

DVD functions - Menus Main menu This menu allows you to define the player’s settings (languages for menus and disc, sound outputs, display modes), to choose the playback mode and to lock the player. If you have not inserted a disc, this menu appears automatically. -

- If there is no programmed list, this mode cannot be selected. - It cannot be used either if a rating limit has been set for the film, unless the relevant password is entered (see the Lock menu section). Edit Program With this option, you choose and program the playback order. -

Socket AV2 Scart About NexTView Link NexTView Link is an “intelligent” link, which can be used to set up channels and as an easy way to set programmes for recording on a video recorder with the NexTView Link Call programme function or similar (Easy Link, Smart Link, Megalogic, etc.) from a television already set up.
