    I N S TA L L AT I O N To install the appliance: Remove and discard all packaging materials and hang tags. Place the appliance on a flat, stable, and heat and moisture resistant surface. Make sure to have enough space around the appliance to process the bags with food.

    Select the MOIST setting for moist foods. Select the DRY setting for dry foods.     Press the vacuum speed button to adjust the speed settings. The corresponding LED of the selected setting lights up. Select the GENTLE setting if the food is pressure sensitive. Select the NORMAL setting for normal food. 10. Press the VACUUM & SEAL button to start the vacuuming and subsequent sealing process.

    The marinate function can be used to marinate meat or fish. The food marinates more quickly, because the vacuum allows the marinade to penetrate deeper into the food. To marinate food with the appliance: Use a square Solis container. Clean and dry the container thoroughly. Prick the food a few times with a fork.
