Preparation for use To avoid any inconvenience before operation, please check that you have received the following items which you may have ordered. Items may differ depending on type of machine the 4 in 1 Bucket is to be fitted to and the configuration ordered.

Be sure the equipment will clear them . • Before starting any digging project, lodge an enquiry with BYDA (Before you Dig Australia) or your local utilities location service for the identification of buried electrical, telephone, cable wires, gas, water and sewer lines that are likely to be present .

Safety Precautions - General Information End of Life Disposal • At the completion of the useful life of the 4 in 1 Bucket, drain all fluids and dismantle by separating the different materials (rubber,steel, plastic, etc.). Follow all federal, state and local regulations for recycling and disposal of the fluid and components.

Before Use ⚠ WA R N I N G Escaping fluid under pressure as low as 100 PSI can have sufficient force to penetrate the skin up to 4" (100mm) away causing serious personal injury. Fluid escaping from a very Cardboard small hole can be almost invisible.
For fitment of the 4 in 1 Bucket to other machines you must first contact your Digga dealer and receive written confirmation to ensure you do not incorrectly fit the attachment to a machine with higher pressure, or lower rated load capacities than what the product was designed for .

Operating Instructions Standard Bucket Operation 1 . Fully close the floor against the bulldozer weldment and this product can be used as a standard bucket. 2 . When picking up small quantities of material, the floor should be opened. This product can be lowered to the ground so the material is between the bulldozer weldment and the back edge of the floor.

The angle of the back cutting edge permits the operator to cut sod or other vegetation . ⚠ C A U T I O N Back-dragging material or pushing or scooping with the floor partially open can result in damage to product and will void all Digga warranties.

Operating Instructions Grapple 1 . Open the floor sufficiently to clear the object being lifted. 2 . Lower the bucket so that the object is between the side jaws . 3 . Close the floor as completely as practical for the object being lifted and slowly begin lifting. If the object is too unstable, lower the object back to the ground and repeat until the object remains stable during the entire process.

2 . Slide the floor of the 4 in 1 Bucket into the pickup and raise it slightly before closing so that the back locks into the pickup lug . Maintenance Replacing the bolt-on cutting edges Depending on the configuration, your bucket might be fitted with up to three replaceable cutting edges: front floor edge, rear floor edge and bulldozing edge. The lengths of the edges vary according to the size of the bucket. See "Spare Parts"...

Maintenance Replace bucket teeth (spring pin type) To replace bucket teeth with spring pins, follow these steps: 1 . Knock the spring pin out using a chisel or similar tool (Figure 1) . 2 . Replace the worn tooth with a new one (Figure 2) . 3 .

Maintenance Replace bucket teeth (wedge pin type) To replace bucket teeth with wedge pins, follow these steps: 1 . Knock the wedge pin out using a punch or similar tool (Figure 4) . 2 . Remove the worn tooth and rubber from the tooth pocket (Figure 5) . 3 .

Maintenance Replace side cutters To remove the side cutters, first, remove the two 7/8" x 2.1/2" UNC G8 bolts. You can then swap the side cutters to utilise both cutting edges by turning them . Reinstall the side cutters or replace them if necessary . Before tightening, lightly lubricate the fasteners with oil.

Maintenance Replace teeth on Kwik Rips To replace Kwik Rip's teeth follow these steps: 1 . Knock the tooth out by hitting with a chisel in the tooth bevel (Figure 8) . 2 . Tap the new tooth (felt side down) to ensure felt is attached firmly (Figure 9). 3 .
For spare parts of your 4 in 1 Bucket, obtain the serial number from the serial tag located on the rear of the 4 in 1 Bucket . The serial number allows Digga to trace all production and service records . Ensure all service and maintenance is performed by a competent service agent and all service records are kept .

. Digga may request defective product or products be returned prepaid to them for inspection at their place of business or to a location specified by Digga. The warranty will be considered void if the product or any part of the product is modified or repaired in any way not expressly authorised by Digga, or if closed components are disassembled prior to return .
