Selecting TV screen type
These settings are not necessary when using a wide-screen television (16:9).
Preparations
eTurn on your television and the unit (= page 13, "To turn the unit on').
Switch the video input mode on the television to suit the type of connection you have
made.
While stopped
1 Press [ACTION] or [MENU] to display the initial settings screen.
2 Use the cursor jockey [A, V] to select "5 TV Aspect" and press [ENTER].

Use the cursor jockey [A , V] to select the TV aspect and press [ENTER].
Factory Preset
Press RETURN to exit

Select when a conventional television is connected.
16:9
Select when a wide-screen television is connected or when the units LCD is used.
4 Press [RETURN] to finish the setting.

Press [RETURN].
e Select "16:9" when using the unit's LCD without connecting a TV set.
Ensure "7 Speaker Setting" is set to "2-channel" (= page 38).
