USE AND STARTING

Check around the area for flammables, especially gasoline, or other vapors which may ignite. The exhaust and top of the portable tankless water heater will get HOT! Make sure there are no foreign objects around the portable tankless water heater or have fallen into the top.

The water heater must not be exposed to flammable vapors or liquids during lighting.
USE AND STARTING

  1. Turn on incoming water supply. Ensure that you have abundant water pressure between 2.2-116 PSI/15-800 kPa for ideal operation.
  2. Turn your water output device to its "off " position.
  3. Turn the gas valve on the cylinder all the way open.
  4. IF THE SMELL OF GAS IS DETECTED, TURN OFF THE GAS VALVE IMMEDIATELY!!
  5. Set the burner power switch knob to position. (In winter this knob can be switched to )
  6. Set the water control knob to Maximum.
  7. Set the gas control knob on to Minimum.
  8. Turn your water output device to the "on" position and adjust to the desired water flow.
  9. There will be a series of audible clicks and the burner will ignite. Please take note the water heater must not be exposed to flammable vapors or liquids during lighting. Should the burner not ignite after 5 seconds, shut off and go to the "Troubleshooting" section.
  10. Upon completion of use or storage, open the drain valve (ribbed cylindrical stem next to the water inlet valve) to ensure draining of water.
  11. Please turn off the gas supply when not in use.

Water Temperature Adjusting
The temperature of the outgoing water is dependent on the temperature of the incoming water balanced with the amount of heat applied. Use extreme caution in setting the outlet water temperature.

  1. The water flow knob in position max and the gas knob in position min is the lowest temperature setting available.
  2. To raise the water temperature, adjust the gas knob up (toward max);
  3. After step 2, if you still need water temperature higher, adjust the flow rate knob down(toward min) until you have the desired temperature.
  4. The middle knob is for adjusting the amount of propane burned per unit time.
When the initial water is too hot in summer, you could turn it to the position. One burner work to lower the temperature and save propane. When the initial water is too cold in winter, you could turn it to the position so all of the burners will work to raise the temperature.
