Chapter 7. PRECAUTIONS
Drive Handling Precautions
+ Operating environment is complied with "Installation Requirements'.
+ Be sure to use only DC +5V £5% and +12V 45%.
+ Do not subject the drive to shock and vibration.
+ Inserting a disk cartridge into the mechanism when moisture is present may
cause damage to both the disk and the drive.
Disk Handling Precautions
+ Do not drop the disk or bump it against other object.
* The disk cartridge's shutter automatically opens when it is inserted in the
drive. Do not open the shutter manually or touch the disk inside.
* Do not disassemble the disk cartridge. Precise adjustments are made at the
factory prior to shipping.
+ Erase protection tabs are provided on the disk cartridge. To protect data
tecorded on the disk, slide the red tab in the direction of the arrow; to unlock
the protection, slide the tab in the opposite direction.

+ Moisture condensation caused by a sudden temperature change or high
humidity may impair writing or reading capabilities.
Notes on storage:
+ Store cartridges in their case.
+ Keep cartridges away from heat sources, such as radiators, or places subject
to direct sunlight, excessive dust and/or moisture.
